Smoke request

Just got back from seeing my grandma and saying goodbuy. She's in some pain and frightened but still tough as nails. When the doctor came by to confirm the diagnosis and asked if there was anything she could get for her, my grandma looked at her and said, "A shotgun?" This left the doctor absolutley speechless and the rest of us trying not to laugh.

Anyway, the end will be fairly soon and I wanted to thank all of you for the kind thoughts.

John, more smoke and prayers from Boise. Good luck with the difficult times ahead, if the cantina can help, please ask.:(

I just recieved word that my Grandmother passed away about an hour ago. She will be missed, and I wanted to thank all of you for the kind thoughts during the past week.

In fact, reading the current big brew up on the HI forum has only reinforced to me the fact that this group may have been brought together out of a fascination for the khukri, the skill of the kami's, and the integrety of Bill and Yangdu, but this community continues to prosper for each of the members in times of need and friendship.

Thank You all

Continued Smoke.

In the long years long ago the Cherokee would cry at the birth of a new baby and rejoice at the leaving of a loved one.
The reasoning was because of all that the baby would suffer during its life but for the one leaving there was rest and relaxation and a life without hurt or toil for eternity.
