Im posting this in my boy Andys forum cause I know it wont get moved to somewhere I dont frequent since Andy said I can post whatever I want in his forum.

I need some smoke boys. My father was diagnosed with Leukemia yesterday. Hes very sick and in the hospital 8 hours away from me. I havent the dough, or the time off to make it up to see him for awhile. His white blood cell count is 115,000 compared to 3000 6 months ago, and his spleen is enlarged among other things.

While my father and I didnt see eye to eye at some points in my life, he has been a constant influance on me, and has taught me alot. He is a retired Marine with 2 tours in Vietnam under his belt. Winner of 3 purple hearts and a bronze star, he is a hero.

send smoke his way for strength to fight another war.
 
My God Jake. I'm so sorry to hear this brother. I'm praying for both of you immediately.

Thanks brother, that means alot. To say im taking this hard doesnt even begin to describe it. Im a wreck.

Ive been trying to keep busy to take my mind off it, seems to help a bit. Working ambulance doesnt help much.

Jake, I'm really sorry to hear this brother. I can't imagine how hard that must be. My father wasn't always the father I wanted, but he is now and I'd be really lost without him. Both of you guys are getting many prayers and much smoke from me bro.
