Smoke

Dang, that's rough. I'm sorry to hear about your family's loss. I hope you all can find at least a little joy in the upcoming holiday. I know when my granddad had a killer stroke on Christmas Eve the whole family was already there and were able to use each other for support.

My best wishes to everyone there.

Update:

Meredith had preclampsia (sp?) and had to have an emergency c-section. Baby Noam was born 2 lbs 11 oz on Dec 21st. Mother and child are stable, father is an elated, worried, sleepless loving mess. Neither is out of the woods yet, but the family is being very supportive.

Here's a current picture. That's a sock he's wrapped around.

Thank you so much for your support. Sorry I didn't update y'all sooner; been a rough couple of days. Meredith is the closest I've ever had to a big sister.

You are all amazing people. I am blessed to have fallen in with you.

Mac.

Poor little fellow. More smoke and prayers for him and mom.

Smoke for you, yours, Meradith, and baby Noam!!

I'm sorry I missed this earlier. Prayers from Atlanta.

Mac, my older son is 21 now. He was 4 lb, 4 oz, when he was born (emergency c-section also), about 9 weeks early. He's 6 ft 7 now. And the technology has gotten even better since then.
