My weekend project. This was my first time smoking a brisket. Came out pretty darn good. Enjoy the pics.

I'm no food critic, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night and that looks pretty damn perfect to me!

To echo Suz, what did you cut it with?

Yes, please share your recipe. I have always wanted to try one of these on our Traeger. Looks great, good job!!

Looks fantastic Thrill! I have been thinking of starting a bbq and blades picture thread, like beer and blades. Kinda seems the wrong time of year (for some folks, i grill all year), and saw a couple have been started that didn't get very far.

Nice looking hunk of meat....Smoke Ring is nice and deep....I found after years of smoking that a Simple Yellow Mustard rub yeah thats right "French's" mustard is all you really need. Let the
smoke from the wood do the rest of the flavoring...(or maybe i'm just lazy:D) I've tried every friends recipe until I stumbled on the mustard....I saw you photos and started drooling....

That is an amazing looking brisket! I can almost smell it through the screen! It's making me so hungry just looking at it
