Smokey Mountians

i am going back in a few days,we have never been to clingmans dome...

so it will be new to me and the wife,i missed SMKW last trip,i spent all my money on cooking skillites at lodge across the road from knifeworks,have you been in there it is neat..

Have fun ! It was sunny & 80deg. in pigeon forge when we left the hotel that morning...it was 64deg at the base of the trail on top of the Smokey's & was drizzling rain & overcast ! Be ready for a totally different climate !
 
If you have time visit Cades Cove about 20 miles south of Pigeon Forge. An old farming community in a beautiful cove. Several Cabins and Churches on an 11 mile loop road. Tons of big deer and I have never failed to see a bear in the park.

Yep...Cases Cove is one of my favorite places to visit! Didn't get a chance to make it on this trip.
