This is my first attempt at making a Congress pattern folder and my first attempt at making a "multi tool" type folder.

Serial nr: 002

Some specs:
89mm closed length, 13mm thick, 64 grams (3.5", 1/2" and 2.25 ounces)
1070 blades and springs, bronze bolsters and pinning, brass liners, mammoth tusk covers

Price: R3200, including postage in RSA (US$ 450 including postage to USA / Europe and Paypal fees)
Supplied with pigskin pouch.

Email me (tiaan@knifeknowhow.com) or pm me to buy this knife.

This knife WILL RUST if not taken care off. A dark patina will develop with ordinary use.

Can you explain what the individual blades are for (particularly the pointy one and the one with a flat round foot)?

The wharncliffe blade is for cutting, the round tipped blade left unsharpened, it is used to clean a pipe's bowl. The one with the round foot is called " tamper" and is used to press the tobacco down into the pipe bowl. The pointy one is used to poke a hole through the tobacco in the pipe's bowl to get an even burn.

Thank you for all the kind words.
