Its the only reference I have ever seen to date. Once upon a time I had a micarta handled Police Recruit, yes from the factory, and its the only one I've seen as well. The fellow that bought it from me actually took a dremel to the handles to texture them, I literally fell out of my chair.

Back up there, I know I'm not the only one wondering about the Smokey.
d762nato, that is a Combat Recruit not a Police Recruit. The CR is a little shorter than the PR.
Interestingly, theres a lot more A2 CR's than PR's. Most PR's are in INFI. No CR's in INFI.
