smoothest backlocks

I have three Chaps and they are all flickable, the older versions esp if you adjust the spring. The latest birdseye maple version is flickable right out of the box.
The Chap is the best. I usually take off the clips and carry them at the bottom of my pocket. Just feels safer and nicer in the hand too.

Do you know how the FRN chap does in the flickability department?

Does anybody have a rec for a smaller flicky lockback? I'm looking at the spydie chapparal atm and the spyopera was looking pretty appetizing too until I saw it's peened together.

With the Chaparral, This came down to hand size for me. I have larger hands, and attempts to flick my Chap open always felt like they were one slight misstep away from a dropped knife. But the lock on that one was quite smooth, definitely a good option on that front.

I've got pretty large hands too, but small knives aren't usually a problem for me. My area has some strict laws so small is all I really carry haha

I’ve got a Viper Turn on the way. It’s on bearings. I’ll let you know how it is once I get it in hand.

I can flick my Delica open with every finger but my pinky. And the Genios drops closed if you aren't careful.
