Smoothest knife. Pocket, opening, cutting.

Of course slippies are the ultimate, but for clipped locking knives the Spyderco Kopa is my choice. The clip looks like what you might find on a nice pen, smooth finish (Black Quince on mine), and a real nice slicing FFG leaf blade that gets scary sharp with a few passes on the Sharpmaker:thumbup::thumbup:
I have my first Caly 3 on the way, and it looks like a slightly larger version of the same design, so I may have a new favorite shortly :D

I've been thinking about collecting all the different Kopas, but am a little turned off by the smallness of the blade. How do they perform?

The blade is a little small compared to Delica, or Paramilitary, but for what I consider EDC it is a great size. It's definitely not a "work" knife, but it is a solid knife. I carry mine when I wear Dockers, or dress pants as a more of a dress knife. Maybe someone here has put theirs to more of a test than I have.
Most people think it looks a little unusual (and it does i guess) but the ergos are great, the blade is not too thin, and it passes easily as a non threatening "pocket" knife to the sheeple who have seen mine.

Just (literally) got a kershaw black/gold leek. I think it's gonna see A LOT
of pocket time. Smooth finish and super sweet assisted opening. It kicked
my spyderco tenacious out, lol!

Uh oh! I just added a bunch more knives to try out to my "list"

(scribbles Mnandi, Kopa)

I just received a Bark River "Little Creek" small fixed blade and an in pocket sheath. I've never tried carrying a small fixed. This should be interesting.

Lol at Hobo with a nice knife Liveitloud. Funny thing is a new D2 paramilitary is what put the finishing touches on my jeans! I think it's a keeper and will probably take the clip off and smooth out the g-10 under the clip a little.

1+ for the Sebenza. But, my Mayo TNT is the epitome of smooooooooooooth & light. I do not notice that it is there.

My Kershaw Blur(s) were roughest of all of my EDC knives over the years on the pocket linings. No problem with the Spyderco Native I've EDC-ed most of the last two years. Super useful knife - and my only Spyderco thus far, even if I have a new spare. It has been displaced by my Buck Vantage Pro #347 lately, due to it's newness, whose slickish contoured G10 scales allows it to glide in & out effortlessly - except when pocket change gets stuck in it. My newest is a BM635BK, which thus far is seeing a separate pocket so it won't be colliding with keys, change, etc, and gaining 'character'. I do remove my knive's clips as I just carry them like I did my SAK, 110, etc - in the bottom of a pocket.
