Picked this beauty up today. First production, number 776 of 1000. I've read a lot of feedback on here about people who have gotten BMs with QC issues, but I've been extremely lucky in the half dozen I've purchased thus far, and this one is no exception. Great fit and finish, centering is spot on, rocket deployment, and absolutely zero blade play in any direction. Very happy with this one.

Sweet, how's it compare to regular griptilian? Size comparison pics compared to regular griptilian if u got one?

I don't have a grip, but handled one at the store where this was purchased. They are very similar in size. The Freek has a slightly larger blade in length and height, but the handles are very close to a match. I chose this one because I like the blade shape more than the Griptillian.

The blade shape is much closer to a Doug Ritter Griptilian than a regular Grip drop point. I really like the Ritter Grips. My Freek should be delivered today.

Love that blade shape! Also.....thumb ramp with gimping??? Nice!!! How do the handles feel??

The ergos of the handle fit my hand very well. I have large hands though, so someone with smaller hands might find the bump between the index and middle finger could be a hot spot. While I love my 940, this one just fits better. I also enjoy the texture of the composite material better than the giptillians I handled at the store (both old and new versions). Although, the look of the grey/blue grips really draw me in for some reason.

here ya go

It a nice looking knife but I think it kinda sucks that BM brings this out in the wake of discontinuing the Ritter. It explains why they ended the relationship with Doug.

Looks nice, i can't wait for mine to arrive! I'm pleased they've gone back to more subtle "First Production" markings like they did with the Grips.
