Snake Eats Croc

Wow Rob! That is insane. . . . You don't see stuff like that in Ohio! Thankfully. . . .

I didn't see that in the video, but there are a couple of factors that would come into play...in that first video, the biggest problem I saw was that the alligator was still struggling when the snake had it swallowed to the rear legs. Odds are that he caused damage that led to the snakes death.
As far as the one in the original article - I would consider it an overly large meal...but probably not one that would kill the snake. (Barring any injuries sustained, the biggest concern would be whether the digestive system of the snake could deal with the croc's hide before decomposition gases caused the croc to swell)

He said it in the comments section. And you are likely right about the gator doing damage by still fighting even after he's halfway ingested

That's crazy... I wouldn't think it could digest a croc with that thick hide :eeks:! Rob you might need to take that MOAB down there and gut that thing :D!

I can't imagine seeing something like this in my back yard, that's just crazy! Thanks for sharing, Rob!

Since I hate both species, I have nobody to root for. These videos make me want to go test my machetes. How many whacks would it take to get through that snake? He couldn't move very fast with all that meat in him...
