Nylon-type, right?Troop it was just from a general DIY store, it came in different colours and just said heavy duty twine on it and gave it's breaking strain !
O.K., just got back from the hardware store... we're going to have a "DIY nylon-type flourescent orange thin-cord-wrap" competition.yup that's right !

I'll post pics then everyone can decide. But, you gotta cut me some slack, yours looks pretty hard to beat, and my KOA has a curved handle. so I can't wrap it all the way.
Yeah...well. I guess it's a developed skill.It don't look too shabby to me bro !!!!
Yup....that's exactly what it is. nylon...it looks to be the "twisted" type.PD, nice pics & thank you for the shot of the PSK. As noted by Siguy, the labeling of inside containers (fire, floss) is handy... I wouldn't have thought of that.
I suspect that the cord you fellas are using is mason's line. It is thin, typically bright colored (easy to see to avoid tripping on it), but very strong nylon line. It has to be strong since it is made to be stretched VERY tight between batter boards on job sites by gorilla-handed workers. It comes in either twisted (laid) or woven braid construction. IME the braided line knots better because it is much limper than the laid type line.
great pics pitdog, as usual![]()
please let me know what breed your bigfoot-hunter is![]()
thanks
Arne
Is that sheath from Normark? also how do you find the twine affects the feel of the handle? As it is my hand barely fits the handle
