I originally made this knife for a neighbor's boy for his birthday. Unfortunately when they came to pick it up, I let them look at some other knives I'd made and they chose one of my other knives! So I have this one up for sale.

I'm discounting this knife because if you'll look on the left side, you'll see that it appears that the lower front pin is flawed. I believe that the edge rolled back a bit when I drove it through the tang and I didn't notice it until after the epoxy had set. At any rate, it's small cosmetic blemish and doesn't affect the performance of the outstanding 1084 high carbon steel from Aldo!

The specs are as follows:

Steel: 1/8" Aldo's 1084
Hardware: two Mosaic 1/4" pins and a Stainless Steel thong tube
Handles: rare Snakewood scales with Red G10 liners
Blade: 3 5/8" tip to front of scales with about 3 1/4" edge
OAL: 7 1/2"

Comes with either a Left Hand OR a Right Hand custom leather sheath handmade by myself (left hand sheath shown). A right hand sheath can be made this weekend if that is what you prefer.

Thanks guys. It is a sweet little knife and the snakewood is awesome as well.

UPDATE: Okay, I was asked if I would make a right hand sheath for this knife and I agreed. So now you have a choice, either right OR left hand sheath! Your choice of either! If you want a right hand sheath, I'll make it this weekend and get it out to you Monday.

Dang Mud, that's a good lookin' blade. Nice leather also. If your neighbors picked another knife over this one, that other knife must have been a real jaw dropper.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Wilson, the knife they chose was a little larger. Grandpa (who paid for it) wanted him to have a little larger knife. It had spalted maple scales and the handle was a unique design I had come up with.

Unfortunately my camera skills are lacking and it's hard for me to catch how good looking these Snakewood scales really are. Gotta get me a light box or something!
