(BOTH SOLD) For sale are two absolute gems with some of the best wood grain I have ever seen! Both are Like New/Unused (I did carefully remove the factory blade etching with Flitz metal polish). Prices are net to me via PayPal.
1. Snakewood Viper. $SOLD I believe the pictures tell the story on this one. I was able to score the "pick of the litter" from a retailer's latest batch. Very rare knife considering GEC had to scrap many due to manufacturing glitches.
Great walk and talk. Pull about a 7. Backspring is flush in closed position, slightly proud in half-stop, slightly recessed when open. No discernible gaps.
2. TC Barlow Palo Santo Sheepsfoot. $SOLD This has some of the best wood grain I have ever seen on a TC Barlow. Not only that, but the grain dances and changes when viewed at different angles (a phenomenon known as "chattoyance.") When I first received this knife in 2015, I had to create a video to show this mesmerizing effect.
Great walk and talk. Pull about a 6. Backspring is flush in closed/open positions, slightly proud in half-stop. No discernible gaps. Tube is signed by the man himself Charlie Campagna who enscribed "the sacred wood" -- and this one certainly is.
