I know how you feel about the waiting. I'm trying to be patient but I'm thinking about how I'm going to modify it which really only makes waiting even more painlfull.

With so much hype and anticipation my expectations are pretty high for it. I hope it delivers!

I plan to change the handle to something fancy such as cocobolo and if it performs as well as aniticipated I'll make a leather sheath for it. Hopefully they ship this week!

all i can say is this....im in love. i didnt get a chance to put it to use yet, but this is one sweet ass razor sharp knife that with the proper sheath will be rotated into my EDC

i saw that. at least i have one to put to use until i get the others ordered. gonna do some fishing this weekend....and i will be bringing the BK17 along.

THIS is how long ive been waiting for Becker to make a "tweener", so i dont regret jumping the gun a bit early. i was sick of waiting....

just figured id share a few pics of the BK17 and the Sharpshooter pocket sheath i ordered for it. the factory sheath is well made, but seems a bit large for this knife. i figured a pocket sheath would be kinda handy considering i already have enough stuff on my belt on a daily basis. i didnt get to get out any this weekend, we had a tornado blow thru here and tore the northside of my hometown up but i have used the Becker in the kitchen and it is a very handy blade.
