So i use clear wireless internet service with unlimited internet and they sent me an email saying that i use the internet too much basically, now the kids stream netflix or other sites through out the day, and i use my laptop quite a bit but they said it was unlimited and included streaming and i dont think thats too excessive and i told them this. then they email me back saying my internet is terminated find another provider it will disconnect in 14 days....

wow.... time to find another wireless internet provider
 
Sounds just like my "unlimited" data plan that I have from att for my iPhone. Every time I hit 2GB of data usage a month (which is really easy to do with FaceTime/skype) they throttle my speeds so much it's unusable. The data plan they say I "need" to upgrade to is $20 a month more expensive. How convenient for them :grumpy:

Wow is right... talk about customer service (or lack thereof). If they are going to advertise "unlimited" as a selling point then they should stick to it or discontinue the "unlimited" plan.

If they need to discontinue the unlimited internet use, even if they price doesn't change, that's one thing. It happens.

But they just basically told you to go kick rocks. Yikes.

I don't have it, but I believe Verizon is the only carrier (to my knowledge) with unlimited data plan. Not sure if they'd do the same thing if you "over-use" the "unlimited" data plan. I've always heard good things about Verizon's customer service though.

worldwood's experience with his ISP borders on the illegal . . . unlimited means unlimited . . . or it should.

As a Verizon customer with unlimited data, I would be all over the local Verizon office manager if I suffered a similar experience. Might not help, but at least they would remember my visit . . . grrrr. :mad::mad::mad:
 
I have had this same plan going on 3 years and never changed how much i use it, but now its a problem for some reason.

Ill look into verizon. but really i dont want a 2 year contract.

I thought it would be much heavier, so I asked for the 14", now that I felt in in hand I think his regular 16"ish offering would have been better.

It's Bill's Merc Fighter. It's a beast!
16in overall with a 10 7/8in blade. Maroon/black G10 scales. 1/4in thick blade.
He makes some very cool blades. Very functional as well.

No nonsense blades. I would not mind having any of those 3 ;) That middle one has an interesting blade shape, I love his recurves.

Piss on recurves. :D Everyone is different, and in some circumstances, I can stand them, but that bottom one gives me a stiffy.

Good to hear! Luckily we're off for four days. Turkey eating tomorrow, cutting/splitting firewood Fr, and hopefully a shop day this weekend. If all goes well maybe shoot some video this weekend too.
