I got a ticket the other week for going 50 in a 40. Of course it was at the bottom of a hill where they slow it down from 55 to 40. State police are some awesome.
 
It was just till my lawyer got a hold of the case. It only cost me $1,500 to bail out, but my lawyer tacked on another $1,500.

I had 3 on me at the time. I had an Esee-3MIL, a BK-11, and my ModCryo. By the time the cop got to the window, I only had my ModCryo on me.

The original ticket was for 95 in a 50... I was coming over a hill passing a truck. The cop was sitting on a frontage road and when I crested the hill I saw the cop sitting there. I just pulled over and waited for him, I knew I was popped.
 
So you did 95 in a 50 didnt show up for court and your pissed they arrested you??????????????????
 
No, I am not pissed at them for arresting me. I was more mad at my lawyer for not showing up to the court date like I paid him to do. I found out later (This is a different lawyer btw) the lawyer I originally used was arrested himself at the time and that was why he didn't show up. That was who I was mad at.

Most times just the lawyer being there is sufficient. I've never had to show up if the lawyer is there. At least not that I've known...

Hermann, Mo is 100+ miles away from me. My lawyer told me he was going to be there and I didn't need to be, and I was contracted to work that day at the Air Force Base for 8 hours. I didn't know my lawyer wasn't going to be there other wise I still would have gone despite the work.
 
I *usually* don't have any issues with cops. In fact the one that arrested me Friday was a REALLY cool guy. We talked about knives on the 45 minute drive to the jail. We talked about shooting and some other stuff. He gave me his number and wants to go shooting with me. He also let me keep my phone till I actually got TO the jail and I wasn't handcuffed at all.
 
Most cops I've "met" have actually been pretty cool.
Some are uptight, but hey, I would be too if I had to put up with all the BS they do.
