Yay, it's BK-Santa Season! :-D

Yah, I felt a little weird after my booster in October, but a couple Advil and a nap set me straight.
I excused my students from class if they were feeling off from theirs.

91bravo 91bravo Love the Bolt face sig 91. I run the heavy spring in mine to. The light one was just a little squirrely wearing gloves and frozen fingers. Moved it here so Dubz wouldn’t pounce lol

Thanks! I'd imagine the super cold weather would make a big difference in trigger pull.

Wow, I was recommended at BeckerWest to try out Apple Music.
I signed up for the 3 month free trial and man, oh man! I love it!
Get to listen to whatever I want whenever I want. Pretty cool. I’m enjoying it so far.

It is pretty nice having such a wide selection and no commercials. We use Amazon music with a paid subscription. It's about 9 bucks a month, and I can share it with my family.

I still prefer CD formats though. Sounds better and you don't need internet. A lot of times when I want to listen to music is when I am in places with no service.

There is the ability to download offline music, but it eats up memory.

Still....pretty cool overall.

Morning folks! Drinking coffee and admiring some new windows. Getting the door and windows done in the house. The upside of a small place is the relatively low cost of replacing this stuff! Should be done by tomorrow. Just in time for more cold weather.

Just had to explain to Home Depot why not being nice to the 5 ft tall silver haired lady isn't a wise ideal. Especially when she is married to a 6 ft tall 300 lb hillbilly who now has a bad attitude because they were rude to my lady. 😡

Back on line after a little weight reduction surgery - had a half pound gallbladder removed that was, to quote the doctor, "full of sludge". My pancreas got really pissed off when I had a gallstone get passed and had to spend a week in the hospital with pancreatitis.

I told him "So, my check engine light came on, huh?"

Belly is still hurting from the surgery, but now I don't have to worry about more gallstones getting hung up in the bile ducts. That gave me my new "10" on a scale of 1 to 10.

Glad to hear you are recovering. I have heard horror stories from family and friends on the pain of passing a stone. No bueno.

I have been painting and repurposing ammo cans to store nursery maps, sign in sheets, and all other pertinent info. So far I have hung 17 of these and I have to say I am pretty pleased.

Man are these things useful. They sell for about five bucks a pop, which for here, is pretty reasonable.

Thanks. Yeah, passing a gallstone was bad. Might be worse than a kidney stone being passed, but I haven't had that for a comparison. It was definitely worse than when I had an emergency appendectomy with an appendix swollen to golf ball diameter. Still debateable as to whether it was worse than ripping the dry bandage off every day for 42 days after I got my thumb hung in a table saw back in December 1982 - but that was nearly 40 years ago and the memory of that daily pain has faded a bit.

Thanks, Tanker.

Everyone hits a certain age when you fall apart faster than you can get healed - last August I had back surgery to chisel out a bone spur growing into a spinal nerve root at L5-S1, This year, I was diagnosed with gout back in August, now the gallbladder. Sometime after the first of the year I get my 12 inch abdominal hernia (been living with it since March 2004) and an inguinal hernia repaired. At some point, I'll need rotator cuff surgery on both shoulders, and during the CT scan for the pancreatitis, they found a 9 cm cyst growing on my left kidney.

But at least I'm still looking at the grass blades and not the roots.

Well that sounds awful. Any ideas on how they occur? Is it luck if the draw or from food/drink?
