intermittent metalworking project from the past 6 weeks - when the weather would let me and a buddy work on it.

and it splits in half so it can be added/removed while the tent is set up.
the repair links are just there so we could check the angle on the hooks.
Skillz! Nice work!

Warming up! -37F-word last night, only -23 F-word tonight! (For you PC natzis F-Word is for Fahrenheit)

Looks good! And those stakes should keep any tent secure even in a tornado! :p
Are you using them with a canvass tent?

Got a Great Pyranees pup to watch the chickens. Also planning to get some pigs and maybe goats soon.

Have had a leaky cold water faucet in the tub for about a week. Got worse, of course, so I went to repair it today. I've changed out the rubber flat washer a few times, but it's been a long time since I've done it. It was everything I could do to get the screw out of the faucet handle. Then, the handle wouldn't come off. I used a ball joint separator, but broke the damn thing. The remaining part of the handle I had to heat up with a propane torch to get it off the spline. Then I had a hell of a time getting the broach/bonnet to break loose. Finally cleaned it all up, replaced the flat washer, and put it together. I ran into the next town over to get a handle. I took the piece that broke off as a guide to what I needed. Had some guy that worked there help me, and he said the one he gave me was definitely the right one. Of course, when I got home, it didn't fit on the spline. So I had to make another trip to replace it. This time, I removed the broach, and took it with me to match the handle to the spline. The guy gave me a handle to fit a "B" broach, but it took an H. Came home, slapped it all together, and she's as good as new. A simple job that took all evening, haha.

Seems like any home plumbing job goes the same for me! Haha. Damn.
It’s made me believe that professional plumbers are worth every penny that they get paid!

Hey The Warrior The Warrior
Any chance you can help me sort out why my signature has suddenly stopped showing?
I'm in the signature section of my account settings. Added the link to the file and toggled on the BB code. Shows fine in the account signature section. Not so much on the site posts.
Looks like BRab BRab is having the same problem.
