I have the KW 350(I like bare metal), that is a great knife. I don't carry mine often, cuz of the pm2 that always hogs my pocket ;) It is an awesome knife though. I really wish that sniper bladeworks colab was with kershaw though, now that would be SICK!

I really like that kw 0350 the bare metal does look good. I was lacking a blacked out folder in my collection though. This is gonna give my Manix 2 some serious competition for pocket time. One of these days ill get around to picking up a para 2. Is that the 511? It looks pretty good.
 
Yeah, stripped. It's on the small side, but my hands aint exactly huge. Blade is a good size. My manix also gets a lot of time too. So many knives, and so few pockets and time.

I decided to bend some kydex for my 14. I'm pretty happy with how this came out; though it could be better.

Ahg you picked that one up? I was eyeballing it something fierce for awhile. didn't know it sold I was waiting for him to relist it lower.
 
any of you guys with phat bobs find that after you have had them a little while they develop some vertical blade play? Not really sure if it is something that I should look further into. It started out kind of a small movement and seems to have gotten a little worse. I'm not sure if it bothers me enough to contact Ka-bar. What do you all think?

I emailed him and made him an offer, I drove over and picked it up. He lives about 6 miles from here so it seemed right. Still paid too much, It looked a lot nicer in pictures, won't cut worth a damn either. I may see if bill siegle will make it cut for me. I want the edge my Natti Machax has.

My Phat bob does not have any play. It locks up solid. Though I have not put it through any rough use.

Keep an eye on it and see how much it bugs you. I bet Ka bar will help you out.

That's what I figured you guys would say. Mine was really solid when i got it, the play developed over the past two weeks or so. I haven't used it for even remotely considered "rough use" the only thing that I do that is remotely abusive is fondle it and flick it open while sitting around doing homework. I mean it's enough play that when I wiggle the blade up and down it makes a click noise............email Ka-bar or maybe ask toooj in his thread?

Definitely a dud. I had two Phat bobs in my time and I flicked that sucker all the time. I loved the "THWAP!" It made on lock up. Kabar should take good care of ya.
 
I wouldn't bother Toooj; just email KA-BAR through their website or go through your retailer.
 
There is a severe lack of info on the RBK in the database. Doesn't anyone know what this things made of? Its all blanks.
