Glad to see many of you survived another fun outing. Good morning and welcome home.

Haha, it was you man, I'm tellin' ya. You were too fast to get a plate number, but I believe it ended in 8. ;)
Close, there IS an 8 at the end of the first set of characters. The LAST is a X.

that's about when we stopped to fill the tank in herculaneum.
I had been watching for your truck, seeing if/when I would catch up. Granted I left Sloan's at Noon (waited to buy Yuengling)
Glad you all enjoyed the dried sausage! This forum does have a sense of community that can't be beat.

This reminds me that I've got an old kit from Atlanta Cutlery from about that same era that I never have worked on. I recall seeing it recently when I was cleaning a bit in the garage, so when I get from El Paso I'm gonna have to start working on it.
Greg, everyone that put your meat in their mouth LOVED it! The general consensus was the thinner was better but both were great! Thank you for sending that off to us! (And I need their info!)

damn.

Not bad at all WW. How is the grinder treating you?

Thanks Trade

The grinder is treating me horribly LMAO!!! Man i cant keep a straight grind on that thing to save my life LOL. I did that one above with files.

I did this one with grinder, but screwed it up several times in the process and now its about as thin as paper HAHA

I have 8 feet of 52100 on the way and plan to just cut a bunch of sections off, put a tip kind of like a dagger on all of them so there is a curve on both sides and use both sides front and back of each section to practice grinding bevels on. the only way to get better is to keep on trying. So thats what i plan to do!!

I been meaning to ask you where you got that knob that you used for the tracking ??

One of the neighbors just drove by on a fourwheeler. Not unusual, but he had a horse by the reins running beside him.

I think he's confused. You're supposed to do that on Tuesday.

It was fully saddled too. He must have just been taking it on a walk/run. :D

That's almost as bizarre as that guy going down the road with a full sized couch chained and dangling from the bucket of his tractor.

I love living in the country.

it's a training trick - run the horse with all the gear on to get it used to a saddle, then add some weighted saddlebags and do it again.
either that or he's trying to wear it out before climbing on himself -- less chance of getting bucked off that way.

Ahh.. It is not nearly as funny now that it makes sense.
