My wife and I were watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed.
I turned to her and said, 'Do you want to have Sex?'
'No,' she answered.
I then said, 'Is that your final answer?'
... She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying, 'Yes..'
So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend."
And that's when the fight started...

Haven't seen The Bridge but Hueco Tanks was amazing when I was there in the early 2000s. Went with some climbing buddies and bouldered for a few days. Most excellent place. We walked over to Juarez one night to have a good time at some shady local establishments. Good time.
The times have tragically changed.
I'll check it out.
As far as problems go, I can't remember any of the names. Been too long. Most difficult problem I sent there was v5 (v5 is the hardest I could ever send anywhere outdoors), one of our buddies had been there a bunch and was our guide, took us to all the classics, we went ALL over that place. Three days climbing all day. Was amazing. We camped on the west (?) side of the tanks at a camp ground that was set up for people visiting the park (all climbers). There was a house there with a camp ground nearby. I still have my 'I watched the safety video' card somewhere around my house.
Picking up my new passport tomorrow. Need it if I hope to go to Wyoming for a climbing trip at the end of next week. Getting into the US has understandably become more challenging. Used to be ok with a birth certificate or a drivers license. The times have tragically changed.
Anyone else watching The Bridge. Pretty cool series about a cop in El Paso and a cop across the border in Juarez. Christine and I used to spend Jan/Feb on El Paso in the early 90s climbing in Hueco Tanks. The world has changed.
in on 49!
I was at Hueco Tanks in '98. Neat.
Used to climb in White Rock, NM, top-roping off the edge of the Mesas. It was like being in a climbing magazine.
A heads up for you snarking peckerheads, I got some lighly used factory bk11 micarta scales to trade for an esee accessory pouch with tin or -TWO- Esee AH-1 arrowheads. in case any of you have extras.
