Well it ain't a Meat Mountain, but it sure was good. Seldom do I get a fast food sandwich that looks as good as the menu picture, but Firehouse does it regularly. Low cal to boot.

I keep seeing these Firehouse sub places here in Colorado. I want to try it but haven't yet. Looks like a great alternative to subway.

I just checked their website and there are 21 Firehouse location with a 40 mile radius of my house. They must be good.

I'll take Firehouse 100 times out of 100 over Subway. Great sandwich options and their salads are really good too.

Well I was gonna make a bracelet with the paracord I got for Christmas but I can't find my fid to attach two colors to eachother. Gonna have to look tomorrow because I'm too lazy right now.

Just climbed the meat mountain. Needs more cheese. The loaded curly fries are awesome but the ranch kind overpowers it.

long day today.
around 9 am I got a call asking if I got the word friday afternoon that I'm supposed to be in baltimore this afternoon.
"um, no?"

I'm in Baltimore now.
the airport shuttle took me to the wrong hotel in the chain, so I had to get a second cab to take me to the right place...
my flight home leaves around 8:20 Wednesday -- so I should be home by 1 or so Thursday morning.
I told work I'd be in around noon Thursday -- after the funeral. (not mine - co-workers hubby died)

Ugh...stayed up waaay too late watching that...

Oh wow! We saw the Green Inferno when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) a few years back. So much fun and a great homage to Cannibal Holocaust and other cannibal films of the same era. Eli Roth was there as were some of the actors and they had a great Q&A at the end of the movie. I filmed a bit of the Q&A. I wish I had filmed all of it!

Where was it playing in your area?

On a different note, we just started watching Mr. Robot. Very impressed so far. Not sure how I missed when it first came out.

Just finished watching the volcanic moon Io cross in front of its parent planet Jupiter with my telescope. Incredible. I could see three other moons as well plus the big red spot and some other surface markings. It's not the world's greatest back yard telescope but it certainly does the job. You can very clearly see the rings of Saturn as well. Also actually got to play some music today for a decent length of time. Only ever get an hour or so here and there but today I knocked out a mammoth 8hr set on my decks. Started at just before 11am and finished when dinner was ready at bang on 7pm. I have 7 and half thousand tracks and have played only a tiny fraction of them. I've got enough music to play until I die of old age. Or until my neighbors murder me :D

Chopped on my 5 today, and bought a new one. Hoping under 45 was a good price. Also picked up a Cold Steel karambit and a kershaw boot dagger, for funsies. Waiting for the epoxy to cure.

I would like to do all this... while on some mind blowing drugs. Sounds like a party!

I watched a new move recently that I thought was pretty good. It is called Bone Tomahawk. 2015 release. Its on Netflix. Its set in old west times and Kurt Russel is a sheriff. Cannibals are kidnapping and eating the residents of his town. Grandpa Cowboy Snake Pilsskin to the rescue. I liked it.

any of you guys have an ILBE hip belt you'd be willing to get rid of? I have a medium one but would really like to get a large one

Cool! I love climbing that mountain. I order potato cakes with a side of cheese with mine.I put the potato cakes in the middle of the sandwich, then squeeze the container of cheese in there too! We order the loaded curly fried with no ranch. Good stuff.
