So I'm watching a video from SHOT at the Kershaw booth and I decide to pop over to their website to check out their stuff and the first thing I see on the home page is this:

I must has. It's the Camp 12, MSRP of $45. Looks a lot like some of the offerings from Fox Knives.

hot

hot hot

mmm, the River

The new ZT 804cf looks purdy. It's going to be a very long time until I scratch my folder itch tho :(

Well that Kershaw Camp 12 I posted earlier was only $30 so I ordered it and a couple folders. Got a Finn Wolf and an alox farmer coming with it.

For 30 bucks it looks sweet, even if the edge is crap at that price it would be easy to mod and play with anyway.

How long is it?

Nothing Spartan makes would I describe as "gentlemanly".....even the very small Enyo I have is and looks like, as their slogan says, a "Knife With Intent".
Did your enyo come with a VERY obtuse edge? Like so thick it wouldn't really cut? Cause mine sure did! But the point was super pointy. So I ended up putting an edge on it with the worksharp. Left the point pointy, and then gradually thinned it out as it comes back to the handle.

They make a cream for that now

Just picked up a Finn Wolf from the Exchange. Stout little folder. All those Kershaw Camp knives are high value fun.

Mine came from another BF member and the edge is excellent.....and VERY pointy. Also have a Difensa which is just the absolute bomb.

The blade length is 12" hence, camp 12. I've been very happy with every Kershaw I've ever bought so I figured I couldn't go wrong. I've personally never played with any of the camp series but I have yet to hear a negative thing about them.

Cold Steel certainly know how to build, and overbuild, a folding knife.

Been quite busy at work the last few weeks. Thought I'd pop in, say hi and give a sitrep of sorts. I might have said that I had an assessment with my current employer. A whole day of computer testing, interviews, roleplays with regards to different subjects...
I'm getting the results of that day officially on Feb 3rd, but the higher ups have already spilled quite a lot of the outcome since it seems to have been pretty amazing. They said they see that type of results only once every 4-5 years. In a company of 14k people I guess that means something. Anyway, different departments (some of which I haven't even heard of) are already asking for an interview. Even if I didn't get the results yet. Apparently they have. Exciting times :)

Rock on G-shark. Ya know what, just tell them that I said you can have whatever job you want. You've earned it. Just email Karen in HR what job you're taking and how much you want to be paid and she'll take care of it.

Congrats. Just don't take the first opportunity offered (unless it so topdog that you would be nuts to pass) - let'm fight over you a bit. :D

The obvious good news is that you must have scored a "we see one of these every 4-5 years" on the good end of the scale or the door would have already hit you on the way out. :D

I trust that you're right. It's more dressy in appearance than I'm used to. The Spartan reputation made me do it.
