Becker BK72 - interesting exclusive collab

Hi Everyone, with todays' knivesandtools newsletter I was made aware of the exclusive Becker BK72: It's a 1/4" thick slab of CPM S35VN Steel at 58RC with micarta scales and a kydex sheath. The price of 285€ for the stonewashed & 325€ for the black DLC'd version is quite a bit much to...

Really surprised the blades I offered didn't sell. I thought I was being more than reasonable. Guess I'll go to eprey. I've seen them listed there for more than I was asking. Of course, it didn't mean they sold there for those prices.

That BK6 was very tempting; don't see too many come up for sale. I almost pulled the trigger a few times lol
 
I had a few nibbles on the 6, but no takers. Never heard anything on the Reinhardt.
 
I know, right? Not as many Beckerheads around these parts like there used to be.

That race is MAD!
The year she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Hefty Lefty and our ancient motorcycle wizard friend (now also passed) took themselves out to the TT and marshalled for an epic now-or-never fantasy trip. Just this weekend I was wearing the t-shirt she brought me back. 😢❤️

We spent a week on Minnesota's north shore last September. Learned a lot more about the E.F. and got to see its anchor at the Anchor Bar in Superior Wisconsin. If I remember how to I will post a picture of it later.

so i was zooming through on amazon and saw they had some quanity of new/old? stock Nalgene Guyot Design stainless steel bottles

now, i know these days, that's nothing special, but i know some people are crazy for those...

i'm kinda confused by the advert and messaging about a special collaboration or whatever... ???

lot of haters saying s35vn is "too old" and not cool, $300 msrp (and likely no discounts), is a bit steep for this guy...

that said, and speaking of stainless and europe - varustuleka had a kitchen knife based on their skrama - it's pretty cool - they sold out in minutes.

makes me think once again, that i should thin the herd (starting of course with duplicates and mostly non Beckers). small waves. get it done.

looking forward to possibly flying drones commercially ... retirement?
