our snow melted. :(
I haz sad now.
supposed to be sunny and 72 on Sunday.

Figured it was the Curse of the Mod. Whenever someone gets knighted with a modship, they seem to disappear for a while. Except Bladite. That dude’s sticks around like an STD the responsible mod he is.

i helped start it all, figure i should help end it too :D

there's a cream for that...

May have to try this at work if they keep beating the modern versions. Little schemers eat the bait and laugh at the traps.

i have a design in the back of my brain for a fool proof trap. would work great for a shoppe that has a big dump air compressor tank...

basically, rodents go in a pipe looking for the bait, at some point of no return, they trigger things, entry closes, and 2000000 psi hit the rodent in the butt, shoots it down a long pipe, out the building, aimed at a brick wall, or tree, or something. phhhht. then it resets :D infinite!

Lol - ok that made me giggle.

Okay Bladite, color me intrigued - I want to see it in action

Though, it is kind of fun to watch people in the office run around like the mouse weighs 200 pounds, grew opposible thumbs, has a cigar in its mouth, and carries a Moses on its hip.

Well that's because you've got a smart dog. She knows that if she shows off that she can work a shovel, you'll have her doing it for other people.

Tell me something, are you pepper jockeys drawn to the Becker line because all that capsicum won't melt them like it would other, weaker knives?

She is pretty smart, though I'm comparing her to me, so...

Not only won't melt them, but the hot sauces cool down proportionally to the closeness of a Becker!!

Semi-automatic rat splatter eh? Hmmm, gonna need an industrial compressor, piping, reload-able bait feed, cinder block wall, roomba rat-picker-upper, patent starter kit, ... hmmm, some 30 weight ball bearings, 3-in-1 oil, and gauze pads would help too.

Redhat solenoid valve 24v or 110 no matter. Micro limit switch, steel plate instead of a brick wall (portable) Yeah this can work Bladite Bladite

why not hook up a tube to a compressor set to 150-250 psi -- so that when the rodent bites and pulls, it inflates him beyond design stresses?

i'd make something with schedule 40 as a prototype, but i don't have a big enough dump tank...

my vision is based on youtube videos of "squirrel catapult"... look it up ;)

i imagine that the rodents (of various size) would pop out at 45 degree angle, and FLY FLY FLY ...

go for distance? or just have them wallop into a stable object...

i'd set up cameras at the terminal point, to capture wildlife that comes to snack :D

in the late 80s or so, one of the most effective rodent traps i saw a prototype of, involved the rodent getting LASED through the head, and then dumped into a bin. infinite death.

i've a design or three for a zombie grinder... most of those zombie movies, i'd get all the free roamers toot-sweet... organic too :D

but oh yeah, flying rodents. hell. if the acceleration if intense enough, they're dead instantly... and no pickup...
