sneak peak

Hi guys

Here is a peices in progess, I forged this out of an old extremely large cleaver, I hot cut a peice large enough to make a test Heattreat knife out of and a necker, I am plannig to wrap the handle plus have a turks head guard,

I used a little grinder to put the edge on buy other than that it is all forge and file,

the head is 2 3/8 wide to the handle being 1 1/4 wide. 13 inchs overall lenght,7 inch blade
the butt is hardened to use as a breaker

I'll try to get it finished up tonight or tomorrow

that looks like quite a chopper! you could put an obtuse edge on the flat tip portion for digging maybe. just a thought.

it tapers to 1/4 in the middle and tapers to the butt .
