If I was shooting at the blade and hit the scales, I might not have fessed up either 😉

Without knowing the range, at least he was mostly on left/right...elevation could use a little work.

It couldn't have been too far or you'd never see it edge-on unless extrapolating from the position of the scales which would be visible. Maybe shoot a bigger bullet with a large meplat?! I once read about a hunter who chose 58-cal muzzleloader for squirrels, and the reasoning was he could miss by over 1/4" and still kill cleanly. This has been an inspiration. I texted a friend, "Hey, chief, got a sacrificial POS blade we can shoot?" His response came back "Matter of fact..."

I agree with LizaMarie in post #46! While I admire Jerry for his fantastic warranty, I think anyone who purposefully abuses a fine knife, gun, tool, etc. is a total idiot!!! I have always taken very good care of my "tools" and "toys". I try to buy the top of the line, high quality, items and TAKE CARE of them! I absolutely HATE to see anyone purposely "abuse" something!
