Sneak Peek from Fiddleback HQ 01/06/2015!!

Some serious curly q action going on there. LOTS to like.

Strangely, that bushboot looks to be cut from the same block of wood as my own, despite some considerable time between their manufacture.

I tried to make the last palmers alittle intersting with the bolsters and liners that go all the way through the bolsters like I do on mine, same with a few others including the runt.

Thanks for the pictures. Sure does whet the appetite.

What is the significance of the point of many of the knives being dipped in blue? Is it a way to track what steps have been completed and which haven't?

I asked the same question about the blue awhile back. It means they're waiting on the final grind by Andy. On Instagram today Andy said "Blue tip means that grind is at 120."

It's part of the grind process. It lets Andy know they have been all the way to the "120" belt

They look really good Allen. Interesting details on rare models is a classy touch. Thanks!

I was wondering why you were wearing a Superman shirt today Phillip ... :encouragement:

WHAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!

There are some nice ones in there!!

Thanks for the great pics Bud!

Is that a hunter and a bushcraft senior in evergreen shadetree?

Yes, Hunter & Bushcrafter Senior. Both tapered. The Hunter was super thick .. I'm thinking 3/16" but I'm not 100%.
If you look at the first 2 pics after "Knife Caddy #2". There's a Hunter in nat canvas, then the BC Sr, then the green Hunter.
