Blade show 2015 is just around the corner and The Crew is hard at it. Rumor has it they hit an all time record of knives last week. Gotta remember, there WILL BE a Fiddleback Friday while Blade Show is happening. There will also be a FBF the friday after Blade when Andy usually goes on vacation. So .. some of those knives you're seen in my previous or this week's 'blade show caddy' may just be available here in the forum on a regular FBF - so keep your eyes peeled and your F5 button dust free.

NOTE: For those of you who haven't earned your Phd yet or the sneak peek is a new experience for you; These MAY be some of the knives you see available on FBF.

Let's start this week's sneaky peeky with a BAM!! The Padre has made it's return. Worth it's weight in gold to those veggie choppin Emeril Lagasse perpetrators who want to "Kick it up a notch!". I believe these are 1/16th

i don't remember for certain but camp nessies are normally done in 3/16

It's hard to keep track because often time I'll scribe anywhere from 10-40sticks at a time. By the time they actually make it to this stage could be weeks.

Speechless. Some crazy stuff coming.

Like how you did the tang shots lined up in the tray. Thanks for the post as always

Here's the Padres being scribed

And the camp nessies on 3/16" 2" wide

That pinecone bushfinger in what looks like A2 looks phenomenal!!! I can't wait for the day when I'm not teaching on during Fiddleback Fridays and can make an attempt during the initial frenzy vs the chomped up leftovers.

Shotty all of them....yes I just shottied all of them.....no I don't think "shotty" actually works here :grumpy:

I think its called rolled camo by shadetree. I think he had it in a sales thread not too long ago.
And, thank you for posting the pictures.

Great pics, thanks Bud. Is that antique bone linen, black bolstered knife on top a pocket Kephart?

Is that big Osprey a Ranger. I was too slow to get one a few weeks ago, but am going to try to shark one this week if it is available.

Pretty sure you're correct.

Yes it is. I think Chris said they're W2 and will show a 'hamon' when finished.

Awesome update Bud. Thanks for doing this on your day off brother.

Thanks Preston .. and my pleasure, hanging out there for a few hours is always an enjoyment.

Thank you VERY much for the reply. Please forgive me for being the "new guy" and a little slow, but what does "hamon" mean? Thanks!
