Well, I finally got off my lazy butt yesterday and made onther cable fighter to see what it would look like with those two grind lines together.

I also made a new piece of mokume too, hopefully this one won't crumble like the other one did while forging and twisting. Anybody know if copper and nickel silver is red short or could it have been from getting borax flux on it?

Anyway, let me know what you think. I kinda got both extremes here, maybe have to make another one and go inbetween. ;)

Very impressive. Your damascus looks really consistent. I do like the lines of the second one better. Slightly persian looking.
 
Your cable is very impresive. Both blades look fantastic.
I like the pattern on the bottom just a little more. The change in grind gives a whole new look to the pattern.
Again both are fantastic.
 
I think the bottom one looks more finished. Thats what Im talkin about.

Im impressed with all your damascus.
 
I love them both. The blade styles and the damascus pattern are both exceptional. Are we going to get to see these when they are finished?
 
They both look great, but I like the bottom on better also, looks like it would be more ballanced.

Great job on the cable, did you just twist it up or did you do any folds?
 
Your cable damascus looks awesome. I love the blade patterns your working on. The knife with the jade on it should be a real eye popper.

Great stuff! I like the first one a tad bit more, because I think that the transition flat / bevel looks nice on the damascus. Looks like a heavy blade, but since I don't routinely fight dragons, it's no biggy....
 
I like both of them, they looks great. I especially like the bottom grind of the bottom one and the top grind of the top one. :D
