Sneaky Peek! Sage 5 Rex 121, Tenacious Titanium D2, Manix 2 Lightweight 15V

Check out RGT, they are offering Ti, G10, Mircata and Burlap for the Sage5

Will have to check a set out! Wish the pictures were more descriptive. I don't like the swoops on the one style, but the radial is cool on the other ones.

Hopefully don't feel as "plasticy" as the ones I have.

Man this is exciting! I'm over here just finding out about spyderco recently, just got a couple knives in 15v and k390 and am worried maybe I should buy more because what if they discontinued the k390 as production and never did another 15v sprint. Spyderco says hold my beer and watch this!

Thank yall so much for pushing the boundries on steels and designs and offering such crazy stuff to us regular folks. It's truly a blessing to have a company that's willing to take the time and effort to offer more and more performance and not stop and rest on the status quo. Especially an American company. I look forward to supporting your business in the future and enjoying some new knives

How does one get in line for a Rex 121 Sage?

There will be no line. You just have to wait until the knife is released, and then buy one. Some dealers will take pre-orders, but it's not going to be for a while. If you visit this forum frequently, or the Spyderco Forums at forum.spyderco.com, you'll have plenty of warning.

Eric didn't mention in the video if this was going to be production or Sprint! REX Sage should be available to purchase through normal Spyderco retailers once released, Probably late 2024.

How bad is REX121 to sharpen VS Maxamet?

Considering REX 121 has almost half again more carbide content than Maxamet it should be considerably harder to sharpen.

Sage 121 is cool. FWIW, there was also a SPY27 Sage 5 "shadow revealed" as well.

I wonder what "burnt orange family" of REX 121 Sprints Eric is referring to? The burnt orange Golden Sprints were in REX 45, and Japan had HAP40 for their burnt orange Sprints, so it makes me think perhaps that REX 121 will be the burnt orange Taichung model Sprints? Since 15V looks like the new Golden batch of Sprints, it seems logical that we wouldn't see any Golden 121 for a while, but as with anything, time will tell.

With all of the undelivered product from Reveal 14 still in the queue, I'm actually more excited for Reveal 15.
