Im searching for a new robust EDC knife but which Is not insane in size and weight. Just like a SNG but max 300€ or an Spyderco Techno just bigger. I already have the PM2

Id prefer sth with thumbhole

Does someone maybe have experience with the new Sacha thiel Officer v4??

I have heard nothing but good things about the Sacha Thiel stuff. I haven't ever seen his knives first person.

However I have handled his Spyderco collab, the Spyderco PPT. It was an awesome knife but is discontinued now and hard to find. It was pretty expensive and I am not sure how it's price would compare to the Thiel midtechs or customs.

Spyderco Shaman is a surprise to me, because it seems like a much smaller knife until you compare it to a big SmF . It's solid and has a Strider blade shape. Great lock, opens with a flick. I think it's a great deal for 150 shipped.

How about a Bastinelli Red? The Shaman would be a nice fit too.

While the style is not the same Europe has its own "overbuilt military" style brands. Check out Pohl Force and Extrema Ratio.
