SNG First Impressions

Buz so what did you use an old washer a bench grinder and your dremel on? Still I'm a little confused, sorry.

To tighten the bull pivot used on the SNG, you use an allen wrench on one side of the pivot, and a spanner on the other. I made the spanner out of an old metal washer, grinding the flats out with a bench grinder and Dremel tool.

If I'd had an Atwood SpannerBaby, I could have used that instead.

:) it seems so simple to understand now. Thanks, It takes me 3 or 4 times to understand things but once I do, I forget it quickly... :)

kamagong - I guess it all depends on what I use to sharpen it. If I use my Sharpmaker, the edge will stay pretty normal. If I have to break out my DMT diamond hone, my lousy ability to hold a consistant sharpening angle will naturally turn the edge convex. :o

Very good summary review Buzz, and so are the follow up comments. Its a great looking folder. They are expensive...but I doubt that I will be able to avoid getting one. They just look excellent.
