I had both, still have the SnG. The Umnumzaan is perfect though. I only traded it to try out some other knives. Since I was able to experience one I know for sure the next will be a keeper.
I am very attached to my SnG though. I've carried it consistently over two years and have done a lot with it. I've found what it's good and not so good at as well as things I don't like about it. Re-profiled, it slices just fine. My two biggest complaints are the sharpening notch for such a small cutting edge, gets caught on material during long cuts, and the hot spot I get inside my pinky finger during hard cutting. However, those things haven't stopped me from carrying it.
If I had to pick I would choose the SnG only because it's been my companion but I think the Umnumzaan is the better knife of the two.
