SnG Pivot Question

Greetings,
Would someone explain what kind of pivot my Tanto Sng has. I am curious because I can push on one side and have it move to the other side about .040", and vise versa. Also, when I apply light sideways pressure to the pointed end of the blade when it is fully opened I seems that the G10 side is spreading away from the titanium side of the knife.
Please understand that I am not well-versed in folding knife lingo, and that the most use this SnG will ever see is be admired. I am just curious as to why these things are occuring...

It sounds like your pivot screw is loose. Mine was loose when it arrived also-I put a drop of blue LockTite on it and snugged it back up and it is now fine.

Good looking out Mr. Greg.

The SnG has a pivot bolt that is .234"
If you want to make an adjustment, the removable end is on the Ti side.
