Snicker nearly otter food !!!

I read on wikipedia that otters prefer Twix anyway so no worries. :p Sorry I had to.;)

Otters are badass.

Would otters take on a coyote?

Would they...take on a crocodile?

I think an alternate title for this thread could be, "Otter nearly becomes custom knife collector." I get the sense that if it had "gone into the water," Pit would have had Snicker's back in a very big bad way. Just sayin', I think there'd have been some serious ass-wooping, if anything even thought about laying tooth or claw upon either of the Pitdog's winggirls. Great stuff, as always Pit.

tin pants? is that a brand?

what's the plant that looks like lettuce?

we have a lot of skunk cabbages growing now up North, even with some snow on them. they don't care.

i tend to think of otters as marine wolverines... pretty nasty :>

Tin pants are a line by the Filson company. They are waxed heavy cotton I believe. Really a nice product from everything I've heard.

interesting. does one wash them? re-wax them?

hi Bladite,

I'm not really sure. It's been a long time since I've looked at one of their catalogues. I believe they are just wipe/brush clean...I think you can reapply the wax too.

I'm guessing about a year, LOL.....they are definitely a little softer but mine still have some ways to go yet !!!

I'm thinking about making a pair myself. From what I have found, it shouldn't be too hard to do it.

Cool photos !

Otters do attack dogs , think big weasel with big teeth and fast , dogs are in big trouble with an otter or beaver in the water , small dogs would be at extreme risk of being killed if they entered the water . A mother otter bit a few people last summer as they went tubing down a local river .

Awesome pics bro, glad your hiking buddy didn't get eaten. I hope I make it out that way just once to wander in those woods.
