Ok guys, here is the deal. I have never owned a Busse Knife, and I've wanted one for sometime now. My wife made me a deal and said if I get the SNIP SNIP I can have the CHOP CHOP. So guys, help a brother out. What first time Busse knife is worth the snip snip?

If "SNIP, SNIP" is what I think it is :eek:...:eek::eek: ...Then NONE of them!!!! ;)


Otherwise make it worth your while... MOAB.

Yeah, might as well go for the gold. the biggest, baddest, sweetest MOAB you can find.

Or a Sating Gladius with a MOAB piggy with a NMSFNO piggied on the MOAB.

Anyway you look at it, you want to make the Snip Snip count.

I'm sorry, brother...but NO KNIFE is worth that price... And this is from a die hard collector of Busse knives among other fine steel....

there is an alternative.....I'll give you a hint it made of...Rubber..actually it's made of latex but that's picking nits (noticed I said nits not nuts!) :D:p

That is one way but there are always mistakes that can happen.

Getting back to the point I really want a Busse knife and I am looking for some ideas from you Busse Pros.

Thanks Jaxx for the advise. On a serious note the MOAB is way out of my price range. I would love to have something like that but I don't think I could justify using it at that price.

I want something around 500 to 600. I want to use this knife not just look at it.

That's not a trade you want to make. But if you have to I'll recommend the BWM Limited Edition.
 
Geez, you people. You'd think he was talking about castration, not just a vasectomy. The only thing he is giving up is the chance to make more babies.

BWM LE might be a good choice, as noted. If it is to be your one and only Busse, this makes for a good looking, capable, all-purpose knife. Don't know if one can be had for under $600, though? I happen to think that a Fusion Steel Heart is an iconic Busse, especially the HHFSH.
 
Ok guys lets face facts. SHMBO will get her way - so let the guy get something out of it. Darn nice of her to even offer this much up.:thumbup: Perhaps you could even get a Boosay ramp set up for your lazy boy.....

I would say it depends on what you do. Camper - go medium/large. I would fancy something like a B11 at least. Fisherman or just to carry around get a fancy Meaner or Boss Jack.

It is something I have found out from several years of marrage. She is going to get her way in the end- they can cut you off from other things and like cammels can go for months without a sip of water!!! So if she is offering up something - jump on it. Many do not get anything for doing this....:eek::eek:

Oh you have consumed the Kool Aid! They lie! Simple procedure...no worries...I have seen more guys go through hell after this mutilation! Really one guy sat on a bag of ice for a month, got infected and they had to go back in and do more....gastly things!!:eek::D:thumbdn:
