Well this was originally purchased (used) to replace a knife I thought was lost for a customer but ended up finding it =) So it turned into a project knife!

Here's a run down of the work completed to this knife:
  • Sculpted and contoured the scales for max ergos
  • Customized the pivot for easy disassembly
  • Enhanced the lockbar access very slightly for easy closing
  • Enhanced the the thumb stud for comfort when deploying
  • Rounded the finger choil for comfort during use
  • Installed a ceramic detent ball and adjusted the detent lock up, also exchanged the washers for PB washers - this is very smooth opening and closing now
  • File work to the spine and the back-spacer
  • Reground the blade to 220 grit, hollow grind and set the edge angle to 15 dps - super easy to maintain on the Sharpmaker now
  • Cerakoted the blade in a Snakeskin theme using Magpul FDE, Desert Sand, and Graphite Black

It is dead center and early but solid lock up. There is no play in any direction. The only thing to note is that because the tolerances are so tight between the scales and the blade in the closed position, it can rub on either of the scales if tweaked to one side or the other, although it does not rub when opening or closing currently and I did apply blue lock tite to all the screws. It does have a few light rub marks (can't see them except in the right lighting) on each side of the blade.

If I performed this work right now it would run over $380, so this is an amazing deal. This thing has been tuned to the max and you won't find a one off customized SBW like this anywhere.

Asking $sold net to me STYD in CONUS, I will ship anywhere world wide if you pay the extra shipping.

here are a few before and after pics:
