Oh boy when it comes to reasons of why I'm selling something it seems like I have a hundred and one of them but something always happens here or there and knives, gear etc. come and go.
This was a special trade that somebody very generously hooked me up with for me to give to my Brother for his birthday. Infact the man that traded me the knife is the same guy who made the awesome sheath. Dave of Lifters leather. Little did I know that everyone in our family decided at the last moment that we were all going in on a new .45 for him. Long story short my Brother said go ahead and keep the knife since I'm the knife dude in the family.
I think this blade is pretty sweet myself, but I'd prefer to recoup the $$ I put in on the Taurus .45 Govt model.
Hand ground from Hitachi ATS-34 and that coloring you see is not rust, but rather the heat coloring from the heat treat. Nice touch. Hand sculpted carbon fiber with stainless blind bolts for the scales. 6" OAL.
Amazing little slicer. The sheath fits great, its a RH belt sheath with a spring clip. You'll notice the rivet gone for the clip, the clip snagged on the counter during show and tell and the rivet popped off. You could have a leather shop put a new one in but trust me the clip is not going anywhere, even with the missing rivet. THE TOP SWEDGE IS NOT SHARP.
Asking $160**SPF** shipped CONUS, Personal PP preferred add 3% for regular payment. Or USPS MO.
Insurance extra at your expense. Buyer assumes all risk.
