Snody, in the world of unethical and downright underhanded business handed practices. I wish you continued success and good fortunes. I have yet to purchase one of your custom pieces, I do love the production snody/janich spyderco yojimbo. To spill everything out to let the consumer know what is going on behind the scene so they are not guessing or wondering about where their money is going......kudos to you! Take care and God Bless!

Thanks for your comments and thanks for taking the time to post!

Your post really hits home and in itself justifies the lengths I went to in hopes of making my operation more transparent.

Thanks!!

Here are a few "Fun" knives I recently built.

Hey Bro, those grinds are awesome! I can certainly appreciate your position on orders. It's a nasty double edge!

Take care,

Brett Gatlin

Mike If I had your talent, I would just grind knives for myself all day:D . I have had several of your knives before and the quality, fit and finish is just awesome. Another thing I like about your knives is that you dont stick with the same old....(dare I say,) grind. Everything you make is unique, and doesnt look like everyone elses. Thanks for making a GREAT knife. Aaron

all I can say about Mike or Snody knives is that I can't wait to get my 2 folders from him.....I really can't wait, but I know I will be dead happy when I do.

I have a few of Mike's knives and other cutting/prying tools. His work is perfect in design and execution and always seem to exceed my expectations. I really liked all of his work long before he became one of my good friends.

Here are a couple of pics of some of the Snody Customs I am honored to own. :D

I have a numbered Spyderco Ronin and love it. Thanks for sharing the images.. Beautiful beautiful knives.. Those Kiradashis are so perfect looking!.. I just saw one on ebay, am thinking of snagging it... The same seller has an early run Kozuka for the same price.. Am torn because the Kiradashis have more appeal for me personally since i like little knives, but the Kozuka seems pretty collectible.. Killer work.

Thanks for taking time to post. Thats a tough decision. The Kiradashi is about two months old and the Kozuka is circa 1999. The Kiradashi is a true zero grind with no secondary bevel and they have the 550 cord underwrap and braided lanyard as opposed to the ray skin on the Kozuka.

Thanks Again!

Mike,

Thank you so much for taking the time (guessing not for the first time) to post an explanation/breakdown of your current order/work status.

It means a lot to me as a consumer to be privy to a maker's perspective.

Good luck, and I look forward to some day owning some of your excellent sharp toys.

Thanks,
Brennan
