Snow in NE GA and SW NC

hmm, we got it also,i am prepared to some,i got a generator several stoves and lanterns and my wits,thanx for the pics..............
 
I tried to get out this morning, but the truck was sliding around some. I just turned around and went back home. I needed a day off anyway.

tonym - Most of Ga. (except for some mountain areas) are not set up for heavy snow & ice. Most of the highways are kept decent, but all the side roads are at the whim of whatever the county has. My little rear-wheel drive truck would of ended up in a ditch if I tried to head out this morning.

You got way more snow in Hayesville than we did on our side of the mountains in Waynesville. My road only got about an inch.

However, it is expected to go down in the single digits by morning. It is 12 deg. now.
 
6 degrees at my place this a.m. Cannot hardly get up enough nerve to go to the shop although it is only a feet from the house.
jpr you must live on the south side of the mt.
 
I don't think Atlanta has a single salt truck. There is ice everywhere on the main roads, and nobody is doing anything about it. I've never seen anything like it.:confused:

Get some convicts out there with scrapers or something, damn.
