"Snow Thread"

We have a few inches of "snow" (read: tiny ball bearings made of ice) here in Mooresville NC. Not a lot, but treacherous stuff. It took three times longer than normal to get home last night and I saw a couple wrecks along the way. Pretty, but I could do without it. I'd prefer the light fluffy snow everybody else gets.:(

On it's way up from the south headed our way. Ten years ago I would wish for 2'. Now I never want to see it again!!

About 3 inches of the heavy wet stuff here in eastern Kentucky last night. (toppled one of the big trees in the front yard that was dying). We are supposed to be getting more today but so far its just flurries.

12 inches here. The fluffy stuff. Not planning on going anywhere today. ;)

We are normally burried by now but the grass is still poking up through the white stuff, but its been colder then normal.

6 feet of lake effect last thursday and friday. Not exactly a big storm but still more snow than I like. I'm hoping the new storm stays to the east so we don't get hammered again.

Snow has been slow in coming. There is about 5 inches on the ground, and all the snow has come in the form of flurries over the past few weeks. It's been a dry winter. However, the upside of this is that it has been a steady cold and we have over a foot of good solid ice on the lakes.

Maybe an inch here right now. "Significant snowfall in the next couple days", I just heard on the radio.

Up to about 16" now and still snowing lightly. Predicting another 2"-4" before tonight.
