Snowpeak Kettle No. 1 Unboxing And Mini Review

Nice review.

I got one as a Christmas gift as well, but I've been out of the country and just unboxed it today. It's the perfect size for a solo pot, and a good compliment to a multi-kit for 2 people. It's hard to find a good pot this size with a bail (especially for this price), and the pouring spout is a nice addition. I also noted that the bail, while secure, can be removed easily if desired. All in all it seems like a well-made, durable pot.
Thanks man. I agree, perfect size.

I have one too and agree it is a good design with bale, handles and pour spout. My only complaint is that although a gas canister fits perfectly into the pot, the pot is slightly too short to put the lid on. This is because the lid sits down into the pot rather than on top. Flipping the lid and the lid handle is in the way. It appears if you substitute the Zebra lid, it will fit fine.

I was showing my wife how the Zebra lid fit. It's actually a bit loose, without the insert from the Zebra pan in first.

What size gas canister are you putting in it that won't fit? I just tried a Snowpeak Giga Power, and an MSR isopro, and they both easily fit with the lid on.

Giga Power 8 oz is about 3/8" too tall and Jetboil 8 oz is about 1/2" too tall. Both with the plastic cap removed. They fit inside the MSR Titan Kettle fine.
