I watched this documentary the other day..its great stuff just figured I'd post it here for everyone elsed easy viewing..for those that are unfamiliar with it.. its the story of a young Les stroud (survivorman) and his wife. who went off to live in paleolithic existence with only stone toold for a year in the Ontario wilderness, after there marriage in the early 90's it's workt checking out.

that was a great watch, I had it brought to my attention a while on a forum dedicated to les stroud, and still survivorman.

Yep, a great documentary. :thumbup:

Les Stroud is on my short list of people I would live to buy a pint for, just for the opportunity to share a few stories. The guy certainly puts his money (and himself, and sometimes his family) where his mouth is when it comes to outdoor living.

PS I'd like to think that I could do the whole extended primitive living thing, but someone would have to air drop me parcels of coffee to keep me from going feral.
 
les stroud is just best.its too bad and i'm so bummed out that this is the last season of survivor man
