With Mrs Pit working, me and Jr decided to head out for a snowy hike !

When we arrived at the beach we decided to harvest some wood and get a fire going. Maisy tried making fuzz sticks the only way she knows how.....

Today I used some cotton balls soaked with lamp oil instead of PJ, it took a spark straight away and we soon had a good fire going......

Pit Jr kept whittling some dry stuff......

awesome pics! although you look a little befuddled in the last pic

what is with Maisy and her affinity for logs? :D

Think of the memories your boy will have. The types that will motivate him when he is father. Great pics.

Deep down, that CustTracker is becoming your favorite, isn't it? :) - something primeval about it?

Again, thanks for sharing

"easy as that" indeed. Nice photos and video, pitdog!

Looks like it was a perfect day for a hike.

All the best,

Great pics as usual! Maisy makes me laugh with the log chewing. I need to move there, so very beautiful.
