snowy hikes - pic heavy

Thank you guys,

...I would love to beat my Mistresses a bit more, but I just don't have too much real chance to do so, these days. I do not like just whacking around without a purpose...;) I hope I could post some "real use" pics, soon.

Crafft, my gear is a fresh Nikon 300s, with some classic optics (60, 105 2,8 macros a 20's 2,8 wide, and a 80-200 oldskool tele-zoom). the macros are fantastic. however these pics were shot with a 17-70 Sigma, in jpeg.
... I've left the SLR-photography years ago (in the film-era), and I've used a point and shoot digital for years...now I'm shocked by the level of control what the digital technology and post processing offers.
I'm kind of an "analog"-guy, but I slowly get used to the new era...:)

I know where you're coming from. Same applies for me. A decade or so ago I had a Nikon F4s with premium Nikkors. Sold all my stuff and got a Fuji Finepix 607zoom (consumergrade digital). A year ago I got into digital SLR's. Thought I would get Nikon gear again untill I discovered the quality of Olympus and especially their lenses for much less money, so I could get me some more Busse's:D

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. I carried one of those XM-18's for a week in the pass around on here. It had the orange scale too.

Now if the Boss would only start selling folders.
