So Choice...

Greetings all,

Sweeet, is that tigershide? I had to imagine you saying "So Choice" in my best "Ferris Bueller" voice, lol.

Ahhh, a fellow movie buff:thumbup:, picked up on that quicker than I thought...'Sandstorm' is the name of the grip pattern I believe...

I am having such a brain fart right now - what is the brand name of that pouch? I know that it is Mountain something...?

Also, how did you attach it, out of curiosity? It is very neat and tidy. I like that.

Its a Mountainsmith...IIRC it was sold as small camera/accessory pouch at a local outdoorsy shop. It has two tabs/wings that extend from the sides for fastening it to things like a belt...they just fit around the sheath...I used some orange cord (you can see it in the photos) to lash it to the sheath more securely. I think I may order an ESEE OD pouch to try out as well...better color match and a bit more capacity...with any luck, will mount up nicely...if not, can always go back to the Mountain smith...it'll hold a little magnesium firestarter, small SAK, couple other small items, but not much...

I think we have that same blue background cloth in my wife's LightCube kit.

LOL, not likely...its actually a blue laundry bag, Wallyworld special IIRC...just does a pretty good job, and I like that particular shade of blue...

It doesn't get any better than that.
Just get it over with, its too perfect.
Jamb it in and out of the sheath a couple dozen times
and take it out back for a beating.

Actually, it does have few faint lines from the sheath in it already...just didn't show with the angles I used...and it'll have to get in line and wait its turn...

Since photo #5 seems to be the favorite, here's a few more with slightly different angles/lighting for your viewing pleasure...

Thanks for looking,
BOSS
Thoughts and condolences to the families in CT.

Pics are really good. I am no professional by any means but sometimes this helps me...If I may....

Not sure of light set up and # of lights. But try and center object in between two lights if have em and get directly over top of item. Might have to use step stool to get height. Then zoom in to fill lens. Then rock back and forth to get exact angle so entire blade is lit evenly while at same time avoiding the direct glare/ feedback.
