So do you guys really put your nice fiddlebacks to hard use?

It makes my day to see pictures of you folks using my knives! Thank you for them, and please keep them coming.

I use all of mine. I feel bad for any knife that doesn't get to come with me when I'm out in the mountains and forests :o

I take care of them and don't really feel they are mine until I've used them for a while.

I've always been a bit hesitant to beat on burled wood and sold a couple of knives that I thought were too pretty to use:o

I can tell you....
It doesn't make a good bottle opener. No biggie though
Andy can put a couple facets on the ends and a little sanding it'll be back to new

Some things are best left unsaid.

Next time use the spine brother. If done right it shouldn't leave any marks behind. If it does, just call it drunk spalting.:D

Duder is correct! Been doing it that way since I was old enough to drink and no knife damage ever..

I really can't afford to spend this much on a knife and then not use it, so yes.

No matter how nice they look, they are still tools after all.

Granted I'm not sure of your definition of "hard use", but here are some pics and videos showing how I use mine.

While it is not a custom, the production Camp knife is damn pretty, but it just begs to be used.

I am heading to the Mountains tomorrow for a long much needed family getaway! I have every intention of using my Camp knife until my arm falls off or the knife personally ask me to quit! Love this knife and can not wait to get some really hard use out of it that is not in my backyard!
