Sacrilege I know, but I cancelled my CABS order because I have fallen in love with my Fehrman Peacemaker....


I guess I have been so reluctant to sell the Skinny ASH just because it gets such praise in those best camp knife or only keep one threads (even though mine never gets carried)... I actually had it up a few months back and then withdrew it.

I have an SOD that I'm holding onto just because I think the res C makes it in a class of its own, even though its redundant against the Squatch and NMSFNO.

I guess life is pretty good when this is the crap that frustrates you...

Me either (black paper). My CABS will be going to one of the aftermarket modders for a switch to black canvas, which is what I prefer on all my knives (all users).

As for waiting for one to come out in a specific combo, that's a risky proposition in Busse-land, especially (IMO) with something like these ABSs.

Think back to the BADs... they only ever released a few different handle combos, and none were what I wanted. I had a black/red G10 one but sold it.

Anyway. Nice set of knives you have there. Post a family pic...
 
Skinny Ash would be pretty hard to part with.

I sold a CG ash1, but missed it dearly.

I have a SarSquatch now, and really dig the blade height. Plenty of belly, and the ability to slide the hand back on the handle for chopping length.

But, I still miss the Ash1CG.

I am down to a KZII, a B11, a Sarsquatch, and a BAD. The CABS will round out the user spectrum.

Small, Medium small, Medium, Large light, and Large heavy! for lack of a better description.

I know its risky and I may get burned, but... I couldnt justify dropping that much coin on a blade that I wasnt gushing over when there are others I own already that keep me satisfied...

I wonder how much the spa would charge for a switch to tan canvas.

Here is a crappy pic of my current collection - as you can see my TB, NMSFNO and CGFBM get all the use...

Sweet collection there - just curious - if you could choose between your Squatch or a skinny ASH, which would you keep?
